Septoplasty

Capital Otolaryngology

Septoplasty is a corrective surgical procedure used to properly align the septum (the bone and cartilage that divides your nose into two parts). Performed by an experienced ear, nose, and throat (ENT) surgeon, septoplasty straightens your nose to allow for better nasal breathing.

Our surgeons utilize a cutting-edge surgical technique to correct the septum without the need for harsh packing and splinting traditionally used in nasal surgery. This drastically reduces pain, discomfort, and recovery time after your procedure.

Correcting a deviated septum often allows patients to finally experience relief from chronic headaches, sinus pressure, difficulty getting oxygen when exercising, sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, and allergies. After septoplasty, many patients are able to discontinue the use of decongestants, nasal sprays, and allergy medicine.
